Solving Problems No One Talks (Enough) About

Bringing Ohio IP Ecosystem Partners Together Join representatives from the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), NASA Glenn Research Center, and The Ohio Aerospace Institute for a seminar on taking your idea from concept to copyright. In an era where technology, innovation, and intellectual property (IP) are pivotal to economic development and competitive advantage, we have designed an event to bridge these critical areas with the strategic goals of businesses. This event aims to educate participants on intellectual property, technology transfer, and the economic development opportunities awaiting innovative businesses.

Celebrating Women Entrepreneurship Week, TechGrowth Ohio is partnering with the Center for Entrepreneurship to host an informal, town hall-style Founders Forum with Claire Coder, founder of Aunt Flow. Our event is designed to give entrepreneurs from all over Southeast Ohio a comfortable opportunity to have sticky conversations and share key learnings with each other.

By Invitation Only

Get a little uncomfortable and let’s talk about how to solve the messy (business) problems that your mother never warned you about.

Claire Coder is the perfect founder to lead the discussion. She launched her first company at age 16, designed one of Vera Bradley’s hottest bags ever, and created her own line of GIFs. Her self-proclaimed mission “to make the world a better place” continued when she launched Aunt Flow in 2016 at the age of 18. She received the Thiel Fellowship by the age of 22 and has been named to Forbes 30 under 30. You can find Aunt Flow products in all 50 states, embraced by some of the world’s largest brands. You can find Claire in in public restrooms across the country and in some of the business world’s most influential media like Fortune and Forbes. In 2021, Aunt Flow and their partners donated over 1,600,000 products to make Aunt Flow period products accessible globally.

This forum will be uninhibited, uncensored, and unleashed. No question is taboo.

  • What does your experience have to do with my (much more serious) business?

  • Do I have to be quite so…public??

  • How did you find anyone to take you seriously enough to raise $11million+???

No questions? No problem! Join us anyway and dare the person sitting next to you to ask what’s really on their mind about spotting the need, padding the risks, and changing the world.

Why #go2TGO?

TechGrowth Ohio actively seeks founders like Claire who have technology innovations that can change the world. If you have a concept, we can help you establish the value, marshal the resources, and develop the growth plan that will get attention. Most importantly, we can also offer early-stage growth funding for qualified innovation in Southeast Ohio.
