Jessica Kopelwitz Joins TGO as Associate Director

Athens, OH – January 8, 2024 – TechGrowth Ohio welcomes Jessica Kopelwitz as Associate Director. This new position focuses primarily on TechGrowth’s partnership and business development efforts throughout the region.  Based in Athens at Ohio University, this position demonstrates our active participation in OHIO's  research and commercialization community.

“We are very excited about what Jessica brings to our team as a serial entrepreneur and small business champion. We look forward to her contributions,” said Lynn Gellermann, executive director of TechGrowth and associate dean of the Voinovich School for Leadership and Public Service.  He added, “She will play an important role in complementing TechGrowth’s efforts to provide services and investment capital in communities across the region.”

An Ohio native, Ms. Kopelwitz holds an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western University, a BBA from Ohio University, and a designation of Certified Business Advisor from Kent State University.  Her experience spans entrepreneurship, small business advisory services, corporate banking, and technology sales.  She actively participates in numerous community organizations including the board of directors for the Ohio Women’s Coalition which is a statewide non-partisan alliance of women business leaders focused on improving the economic position for women through access to capital.
