Karen focuses on providing financial and accounting solutions to startup companies. She works with companies building their financial model to strategically show the growth of their business from inception to market stabilization. She helps them identify and build their go-to-market strategy by using cash flow and budget modeling. Accounting systems are set up to allow for solid financial reporting and internal controls. Ms. Davis has extensive experience in CFO and management roles in accounting and venture capital. Ms. Davis earned a B.S.B.A. in Accounting from The Ohio State University and holds an active CPA license in the state of Ohio.

Executive in Residence

Tony provides business strategy and investment recommendations for TechGROWTH Ohio. He has managed extensive international patents and copyrights for The Ohio State University and he draws on 20+ years of full life-cycle product management and development. He has held key roles in software development for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, consumer packaged goods, aerospace, energy, and chemical industries with in-licensing and M&A activities; in a successful bioinformatics startup; and in a major multinational instrumentation company. His research in geochronology, propulsion systems, astrophysics, and advanced computing has led to contributions to X-plane technology demonstrators. the Cassini-Huygens mission to Saturn, and the application of machine intelligence in business and finance.

As the founder of The Lachey Company, Ron has worked with many entrepreneurial, high growth clients pursuing funding and he brings this expertise to his work as a TGO interim CEO and strategy coach.  He began his career with the City of Columbus City Attorney’s office where he assisted in local income tax litigation. He joined the Ohio Department of Taxation and as an Attorney and Legislative Liaison. Moving to the private sector, Ron joined Ernst & Young LLP and worked in State and Local Tax and corporate income tax planning, assisting companies in securing tax credits and incentives. He was appointed as Tax Services Coordinator for various clients in the Columbus area.  Ron earned his B.S. in Finance at The Ohio State University and his J.D. and L.L.M in Taxation from Capital University.
