Qualifying

To qualify for assistance from TechGROWTH, an innovator or start-up firm must:

• Have a technologically innovative idea, service or product.  This encompasses a wide range of possible business ideas.  Usually, successful clients have an idea that can be patented or trade-marked.  TechGROWTH has aided firms in the biosciences, agricultural sciences, advanced energy sector, digital media sector, and many innovators that fall into a ‘general’ category.  An initial assessment interview will verify whether your idea qualifies as ‘technologically innovative.’
  
  
• Have a substantial presence in the 20 counties of SE Ohio
  
  
• Be an individual innovator, or be a small company with less than 50 employees and less than $5 million in annual revenue.
