Kevin Aspegren is a retired technology entrepreneur with experience investing, starting and managing rapidly growing companies, but now focuses on social entrepreneurship. Over the past five years, he has created economic development and entrepreneurship centers at six universities in the US and internationally. Mr. Aspegren has held a position at Ohio University’s Voinovich School since September 2002, managing consulting services for the Appalachian Regional Entrepreneurship Group (AREG) and is a Charles Copeland Executive in Residence with Ohio University's College of Business. Since 2000, he has been a sponsored professional ultra endurance cyclist for Ellsworth Bicycles, Dodge, Cingular Wireless, & Celebrex.  He travels the country and overseas for ten months out of the year participating in 1-2 events a month.
