Andy Johnson has over 20 years experience advising and working with public and private companies ranging from start-ups to multi-national corporations with excess of $1 billion in sales. Prior to founding Custom Financial Outsourcing, Andy was the Chief Financial Officer of a human resource outsourcing company that was publicly traded on the NASDAQ Small Cap Market. Andy joined the Company in January 2002 as its Chief Accounting Officer and became its Chief Financial Officer in September 2002. As CFO he was integral in negotiating a forbearance agreement with the company's bank group, developing and executing a restructuring plan, and negotiating and executing a merger transaction. Previously, Andy had experience serving as an outsourced CFO for a privately-held biotech company. While acting as CFO he assisted the company through its first acquisition and was instrumental in carrying out due diligence and negotiating the purchase agreement. Additionally, he assisted the company with developing its acquisition business plan and raising the capital required to grow in accordance with its plan. Andy was the CFO of a development stage business-to-business e-commerce company during which time the company raised nearly $10 million in angel financing. He was responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive operational and financial restructuring plan that resulted in the sale of the company. From July 1987 through February 2000, Andy served in a variety of roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers. His experience included buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, general audit and tax, as well as various business advisory services. Andy is a graduate of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio with a Bachelors of Business Administration and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in the State of Ohio. He has been a speaker to various organizations on such topics as cash management, joint ventures and strategic CFO, company through acquisition alliances, mergers and acquisitions, and negotiating with angel investors.
